We supply all equipment, great food, transportation, accommodations, park fees and permits, maps, pre-trip orientation, insurance, satellite phones, high quality canoes & kayaks, and experienced knowledgeable trip leaders.
Access
All of our trips begin at our road accessed B&B on Frontier Trail just south of Armstrong on Highway 527. From our lodge all trips continue with either; floatplane, train, or van shuttle – depending on the trip.
Beginner Trips
Learn! Relax! Explore the Wabakimi wilderness. These trips are designed for people who love remoteness and canoe camping. Anyone who loves the outdoors, is reasonably physically fit, and has some camping experience will enjoy our trips. Experienced trippers may also want to come along for a relaxing getaway.

Intermediate Trip
This trip is for folks with some canoe tripping experience, and are more challenging than our beginner trips.

Whitewater Trip
Led by Bruce Hyer, this trip is designed for experienced flat-water paddlers, and intended to teach wilderness whitewater skills; including how to read water, lining, tracking, wading, and running Class 1-3 whitewater.

Lake Nipigon Kayak Trip
“Kayak with the caribou, explore Lake Nipigon by sea kayak.” Some trips end by railroad pickup, others by van shuttle. All explore the north end of one of the wildest and most beautiful large lakes in the world. Includes all equipment, instruction on wilderness paddling techniques, and experienced leaders.
